Back to: Phil Ingram Photography

I had a shoot with alternative model Veronica last weekend. She originally suggested thye abandoned convent near Katoomba but access was impossible, so the shoot was undertaken at the old Queen Victoria Hospital near Wentworth Falls (and yes, Veronica did have permission for us to shoot there).

Veronica was the first model I had ever shot, and it was nearly 12 months ago. Likewise, I was the first photographer she had modelled for. We both admitted that we made a lot of mistakes and have learned alot since then.

The setup for this shoot - in most cases three SB910 flashes were used, a main on one side of the model at about 45 degrees, a second on the other side at 45 degrees, both in bounce back umbrellas. Space permitting the third flash was set high and behing the model for hairlight or seperation. This was in a gridded snoot.

This collection of photos are the colour examples. The other link has the images that were converted to high contrast black and white.
